• Accessibility Service: This is used locally to monitor your active session time and detect when you have reached your usage limits. It allows the app to enforce a "Pause" by restricting interactions with distracting applications. No data regarding your on-screen content or keystrokes is ever recorded, transmitted, or shared.
• Device Administration: This is used to programmatically trigger the system lock screen during your scheduled focus windows or mandatory breaks.
• Usage Statistics: The app accesses system-level usage stats to accurately calculate your screen time and determine when a mandatory break must be triggered.

1.2 Data Not Collected

For clarity, the application does not access or collect:

• Personal identifiers (Names, Email addresses, or Phone numbers).
• Browsing history or app-specific content.
• Biometric data, location information, or contact lists.
• Any data that could identify you or your personal activities.

Everything stays on your phone. No servers store your usage data, and the service has no way to see how or when you use your device.

2. Use of Information

As Blissful Pause does not collect personal data, "information use" refers exclusively to the local, real-time processing of system events on your device to enable the following core features:

• Behavioral Enforcement: Local calculation of your current session duration to trigger mandatory "Pause" states when your limits are reached.
• Focus Scheduling: Automating device lock sequences based on your pre-configured "Focus" windows to ensure distraction-free periods.
• Service Reliability: Monitoring local system states (such as screen on/off events) to ensure the enforcement service remains active and accurate.

None of this processing results in data being transmitted to servers or any third party. All logic is executed entirely within your device's local environment.

3. Information Sharing

Personal information is not sold, rented, or traded. Because Blissful Pause does not collect personal data, no information is shared with third parties, advertisers, or service providers.

The only exception is if disclosure is required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena, or is necessary to protect the legal rights, safety, or security of users or others.

4. Data Retention

Since Blissful Pause does not collect or transmit usage data, no database of your habits or personal information is maintained.

Local Settings: Any configurations you set within the app (such as your "Usage" and "Break" durations) are stored locally on your device. This data is removed automatically if you choose to uninstall the application.

Even though the application does not collect your data, the security of local app settings remains important. The application relies on standard Android security protocols and sandboxing to help keep local configurations isolated from other applications on your device.

6. Family & Children's Privacy

Blissful Pause is a family-friendly tool designed for users of all ages (3+). The application supports healthy digital boundaries through Shared-Device Parental Control.

Zero Data Collection: Since the application does not collect or transmit any information, no data is gathered from children. All "Focus Locks" and "Presets" configured by parents to manage a child's device usage are processed and stored locally and exclusively on that specific device.

Parental Discretion: The app allows parents to set scheduled enforcement windows based on their knowledge of a child's routine (e.g., after-school periods). The service has no access to these schedules, usage patterns, or the identity of the person using the device.

7. Your Rights

Applicable privacy laws may provide rights regarding personal data. Because Blissful Pause operates entirely locally and does not store your data on servers, the service generally has no personal data to provide, correct, or delete upon request.

You maintain full control over your data by managing the application directly on your device.
